We were asked to overhaul an apartment whose space felt constricted — to a tight deadline.
All internal fixtures and fittings were stripped out. A new layout brought order and fluidity to the same space. Door frames, panels and fanlights were modified. Moving the kitchen created a second bedroom; a large storage cupboard became a new bathroom. Bedrooms were moved to look out over the communal gardens, instead of the road.
Brick format tiled walls, mushroom-grey tones, reflective surfaces and rich walnut floors united with fixtures and fittings to express the client’s love of Art Deco in a contemporary style.
