Feasibility study for a 10,000 sqm mixed use office and retail scheme in Victoria and 2,300 sqm of landscaping for a public square and market.
A large and important site amongst some of country’s most important national monuments to be developed into a vibrant market quarter and public square framed by a mixed-use building.
The architecture echoes and reinterprets that of the surrounding traditional buildings and connects east west and north south to bring life into a vacant and unloved plot.
A new public ground rises from the pavement along the natural water course up to the proposed building thereby completing a piazza with the cathedral opposite on higher ground, re-engaging the ecclesiastical complex with the town.
