  • Island Souls of the Seychelles is published on the work of the foremost and preeminent Seychelles artist - Studio Ageli's principal architect Mohammed Ageli takes on the role of director of publications to produce this book.

‘The book evolved out of a conversation at a dinner party in late 2015 where Michael and Heather Adams blew us away with the beauty and significance of what must be one of the very best historical collections of the Seychelles.’

    • Reflects Studio Ageli Practice principal Mohammed Ageli when he considers why he took on the task of bringing this book to life.
      • ‘I was able to handpick a team of people I knew would deliver something special which is what this book had to be – it needed a different, sensitive approach to the subject matter and with the vision and generosity of our dinner party host who became the benefactor and publisher we were able to deliver.’
        • Fast forward a year and the book was launched at La Plaine St Andre at Au Cap on the island of Mahe, an early and historic building of the Seychelles dating back to 1792, a fitting place to celebrate the people of these islands so lovingly captured by Michael over a period of 50 years.
